Take your pick! These fruit infused ice teas make for a refreshing, relaxing, and non-alcoholic way to stay cool and hydrated while enjoying these blazing days of summer!
Ingredients / Serves 4
6-8 cups cold water
6-8 individual packages black tea or two family size packets
1/2 cup fresh or frozen fruit of choice
1/4 cup granulated sugar or desired amount
Instructions
Option #1
Step 1) In medium sauce pan bring 4 cups water to a boil
Step 2) Remove from heat, add tea bags and let seep for 5-7 minutes.
Step 3) Pour remaining 2-4 cups cold water into a gallon pitcher. Remove tea bags and add hot water to pitcher. Refrigerate until cool.
Step 4) Place 1/2 cup of fruit in a glass, add sugar if desired, add crushed ice, and fill with tea. Stir and serve.
Option #2 (Fast and easy method)
Step 1) Follow the steps above except use cold brewed tea packets and omit boiling the water.
